This is driving me batty. How do I change the gnome cursor theme? How do I change the X cursor theme? I can change the KDE one no problem. -- R.

I use gnome too and I changed my cursor via YAST. Select 'System', then '/etc/sysconfig Editor'. Do a search for X_MOUSE_CURSOR and you'll find it. The dropdown list is empty but I happen to know 'redglass' is supported so that's what I typed in. You have to restart X for it to work. You might be able to add other mouse cursors, but I like 'redglass' so I've never added any. Mark
