Where in sax2 or yast2 do I set the AGP, or does X automatically detect and set the maximum AGP setting? I cannot find any reference in the logs to an AGP setting. How can I tell what the setting is? I have an FX 5200 on a K8T Master series board that has an 8x/4x AGP Pro slot. -- Richard Kimber http://www.psr.keele.ac.uk/

You do not need to do anything for AGP. Just enable 3d support for DRI if you need that, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj SUSE Linux AG, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
If you are using the Nvidia driver for the FX5200, look in the /var/log/XFree86.0.log and the Nvidia driver will tell you if it initialized the AGP port and at what speed
hou001ws:~ # grep -i agp /var/log/XFree86.0.log (**) | |-->Device "NV AGP" (II) NVIDIA(0): AGP 8X successfully initialized
