mounting question; mounting /home to a sub-directory on another d evice
Hello, Set up a directory /sda/home, a raid device, to house all the Linux accounts and I want to mount it as /home, which is currently on the system drive. When I try to make a symbolic link from /home to /sda/home the users can't access their files since root owns the link. What is the best way to accomplish this? Thank you in advance, James

I suggest to ask such questions on the suse-linux mailing list, this list is with x86-64 specific problems.

The link is not the problem - the permissions of /sda/home are wrong, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
