The recommended driver HP LaserJets change temporary at linuxprinting.org. As you might guess: we don't posses all the printers which are in our database. :-) So we followed the moved of linuxprinting.org But as said before, the linuxprinting.org changed their opinion of the recommended driver, :-) and they went away from pxlmono. So, I would say: just use the driver which gives you best results. I prefer for "ljet4" for PCL4 printers, but this is my personal taste.
