When the instant messenger gaimt wants to play a sound, I get the following errors: tcp_connect: can't connect to server (tcp:presario.localnet:1036) unix_connect: can't connect to server (unix:/tmp/ksocketu-gus/presario.localnet-220c-436955fe) Could somebody explain what these error messages mean? The file '/etc/services' indicates that port 1036 is reserved for ntssp (tcp/udp Nebula Secure Segment Transfer Protocol). I admit I am lost. TIA for your time. CF
