SuSE 9.3 + OpenOffice + ghostscript -> segfault?
Hi, after installing SuSE 9.3 on my machine on saturday, I'm no longer able to print documents which were generated in OpenOffice 2.0 (beta). During printing, ghostscript segfaults; I get these logs in /var/log/messags: Apr 18 16:26:55 han kernel: gs[14535]: segfault at 000000000000cdf0 rip 000000000062377d rsp 00007fffffffd290 error 4 Printing to file and then printing that file does not work, either: even "gv <myfile.ps>" does not work due to that segfault. I have installed SuSE 9.2's ghostscript RPMs; printing seems to work, but a couple of fonts look really ugly... Oh, an installation on my laptop (32bit) works fine, of course :( My questions: - Is anybody able to print from within OpenOffice on a SuSE 9.3? I.e.: is it just me[tm], or do we have a "real" problem (that should be submitted to SuSE's feedback)? - Can you confirm this problem? - Does anybody have a solution for the problem? A quick "same problem here" or "no problem here" message would be fine :) Thx/Cheers, Bastian -- Bastian Friedrich bastian@bastian-friedrich.de Adress & Fon available on my HP http://www.bastian-friedrich.de/ \~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\ \ To test a man's character, give him power.
