I have an amd 64 3000+ with MSI K8N Neo-54G M/B. I have suse 9.2 with all updates. The problem is when i use my use flash disk TwinMos 256 MB. When i plug it in my usb port suse autodetects and a konqueror shows it's contents. For about 2-3 minutes everything seems to be going ok. I can copy files in it, erase etc. But suddently with no special reason the PC freezes and nothing is working (even the num lock button stops function) and the only solution is hard reset. In my other pc (AMD 1600+, with MSI M/B) which is running debian with 2.6.8 kernel this situation never occurs. I have tried it on both usb 1.1 and usb 2.0 ports, and never had a problem. So, is this a SuSE thing , x86_64 or just a M/B problem? The AMD 64 system is dual boot, but i never really test my usb under windows ;) -- Marios K. <marios_hellas_23@yahoo.gr>
