I have been trying to build the xmms from src.rpm. I am getting this result. error: Failed build dependencies: texinfo is needed by xmms-1.2.10-56.1 I have search the SuSE rpm's and descriptions and have not found any reference to this. This is only my second installtion of SuSE and I have not seen this before. David

If you're compiling a src.rpm, you need the devel package of texinfo. Thank's for the help. I had not physically looked on a mirror. I had only used the search line in YaST. The file did not show up anywhere. I had found a tarball using google and knew if the src was asking for it there must be an rpm. I have installed from the mirror and the search line still does not see that as installed, but the src.rpm works now. D
