SATA support on K8T Master2-FAR

Hi! I read some posts about problems with SATA on K8T Master2-FAR from MSI. Since I am getting it today and have to install Linux on it with dual Opterom I still don't know if there will be installation possible on SATA disks. I am also gettign two 80 GB SATA disks, which should be in RAID1. Will this be possible or I have to install it on ATA disk? Are any other SATA controllers better supported than this one one the motherboard? What about some from promise: FastTrak S150 SX4 or from Adaptec: Adaptec Serial ATA RAID 1210SA I found some problems with long timeouts and IRQ timeouts under Linux with this one from Adaptec. Any other suggestions? MIlan
