I am trying to compile MPlayer using the --enable-gui on an HP Pavillion with an AMD 64 processor. When I do ./configure --enable-gui the configure fails with Checking for GUI ... yes Error: X11 support required for GUI compilation. I do have the devel rpms installed I think. Below is the part of my log file that shows the no. What am I missing. MPlayer compiles and works fine without the gui.
