OpenOffice and suse 10

Hi, I have not been able to run openoffice 2 in suse 10(64 bits). The error message is 'no suitable windowing system found, exiting' I have seen in internet that a possible solution is installing libstartup-notification, but I have it installed(ver 0.8.8), both 64 and 32 bits, and still no luck. Thanks in advance for any help.
