Hi JD
I was interested to hear how you managed to get 9.2 working fine on the amd64. I was wondering what your pc/laptop's config is ?
Well, Which config would you like to know?
I have a compaq laptop, with amd64 and a broadcom wireless adapter and have been >having trouble.
I have a Compaq as well. I bought the R3000 with the AMD64 3200+. It does have the Broadcom chipset for my wireless. I have the Nvidia 64 mb Geforce 440 Go video card with a 1680x1050 dpi screen. I downloaded the Nvidia drivers directly from Nvidia.com. The SUSE Nvidia drivers have worked for me on a couple of other Nvidia cards that I've installed on other machines. I just wanted to get the latest/greatest driver for myself. I'm running 64 bit SUSE solely on this machine. The only issue that I had was: 1. Configuring my wireless card with NDiswrapper. (Trial and Error, Goofing around with encryption and router config) 2. Firefox crashing. Visiting a java website before the updates. 3. Have not figured a way to get my two up/down volume buttons to work on the side? Other than that. Everything has been running solid since I've had this for 2 months now. JD
