AGP

Hey folks, I heard AGP was disabled in 2.4, is that right? Unreal Tournament loads SUPER slow on my machine -- which I imagine it shouldn't. My machines's a dual Opteron 240 running with a GB of RAM on SuSe 64-bit v. 9.0 w/NVIDIA GeForce4 6500 SE (256 MB version). The game takes like 2-5 minutes to load -- is there a way I can test and see if AGP is working and at the advertised 8x speed? I'm also running the Nvidia driver and OpenGL works fine.
