Hi,
I've got a problem with my fresh installed suse 9.2 on athlon64. My optical usb mouse - don't ask me for the vendor ;-) - doesn't work after a few minutes.

I disabled usb 2.0 support in the bios, but this didn't solve the problem.
Any hint? Is it a kernel 2.6 / usb 2.0 problem? Or is it microsoft's fault, and i have to buy a new mouse ;-)
Thanks for your help in advance
Thomas
I am using a Kensington Optical USB mouse with a PS2 converter (came w/ the mouse) as I write this on (32-bit) SuSE 8.2, hot-swapped it when I bought it & have had no problems whatever. US$19.99 a few months ago at CompUSA. YMMV & all that. Maybe try a PS2 converter ?
