[opensuse-amd64] slow floppy after upgrade to opensuse 10.2

Hey all, I upgraded from Suse 9.3 to openSuse 10.2 (both x86_64) on my dual Opteron box and now the floppy drive is writing at about 1k/sec. It is mounted in the /etc/fstab with /dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto noauto,user,sync 0 0 Any ideas or help?
