Hi I have tried to compile krusader 1.4 file manager in SuSE 9.1 from source. but i always get the follwing message:
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1 (20021021)) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation! For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log. Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!
However the QT library is installed ..
I also followed the INSTALL documentation and i have the following
echo $QTDIR /usr/lib/qt3
echo $KDEDIR /opt
and i configure with the following command
/configure --with-qt-dir=/usr/lib/qt3 --with-qt-includes=/usr/lib/qt3/include
--with-qt-libs=/usr/lib/qt3/lib
^^^^ this is wrong - should be */lib64
--enable-libsuffix=64
should work.
Any Ideas????
Thanx GX

I have a script I use to configure KDE apps, even then I have to edit configure and Makefiles on some packages to get them to build, changing instances of e.g /usr/lib to /usr/lib64. All on one line:- ./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3 --with-qtdir=/usr/lib64/qt3 --with-qt-libraries=/usr/lib64/qt3/lib64 --with-extra-libs=/usr/lib64 --enable-libsuffix=64 Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ....
