Here is the scenario. I currently have a dual opteron 248 system. It is dedicated to run SLOX. When The Netline verion 5 comes out we will be migrgating to redhat 4. I know not suse(my bosses wanted to send me on certification and the suse trraining is too hard to find) so redhat it is. Above my head. Now to move on. Sincec I would assume that OX 5 will only be made available as 32 bit do you think it would be better to run the os in 64 bit moded and run SLOX as a legacy 32 bit app or should I install the 32 bit OS? I don;t know what the installation is going to be lke but I would assume its going to be a big package and it install and configures everything so I doubt I would be able to install postfix...imap.... and so on as seperate 64 bit apps and tie them together.
