Because of the security alert from SuSE watcher I upgraded the SuSE 9.3 kernel from 2.6.11.4-21.7 to 2.6.11.4-21.8. Unfortunately, after the upgrade I lost sound capability. There is no sound. The Hardware Info created by YAST detects Tyan AMD-8111 AC97 Audio and gives the following information:
