Hi, my system is a brand new opensuse-10.3 (amd64). I have a problem with my scanner (Canon N670U), its impossible to scan something with it. It has been recognized correctly and the correct driver (plustek) is configured. Nothing works, scanimage -T, xsane, and much more, i tried them all, its always the same. The scanner tries to start up with a horrible sound and I have to pull the usb-plug to stop it. Did read a lot, many have the same problem, but no one can offer a solution to it. Did also try to disable the usb suspend function in the kernel, without success, did reinstall, downgrade and upgrade sane, xsane and more, no way. Does anybody out there have a solution? Btw: the scanner works flawlessly with windows. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-amd64+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-amd64+help@opensuse.org
