ABIT AV8

Hi. I've got a new AMD 3500 -based system on the way, hopefully this week. It will have an ABIT AV8 mainboard http://www.linuxhardware.org/article.pl?sid=04/10/01/1432245 I've had some experience with AMD64 on plain ATA133 drives, but this box is configured with 2 SATA drives configured as a RAID 0 array using the (software?) raid support provided by the motherboard. I've been trying to figure out what I've got to do in order to install SuSE pro (I wish 9.2 was out) on it. I understand SATA can be problematic, and SATA RAID configurations seem practically undocumented. Has anyone experience with this combination that they could share? Thanks in advance!
