-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I use Suse 9.1 Pro for x86_64 with kernel-smp-2.6.5-7.75.x86_64 on a dual AMD Opteron 248. The board is a Tyan K8S Pro (2882). My problem is that I can't get my Intel Pro/1000 MT server PCI-X cards to work. Whenever I do a "modprobe e1000" the systems freezes completely with no error messages. I didn't succeed in compiling the driver I downloaded directly from Intel. Does someone know a workaround for this or has information that the intel driver doesn't work on this architecture? best regards, Stefan -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (Darwin) iD4DBQFA4rFT7tkXstGqNXkRAqLJAJiyuULv8ruUrewzKu4OePp1oKjwAJ9PPaf2 MNILnycILiqwBE3xbfM+gQ== =gdLV -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
