Hi
My tyan s2850 mobo died (broken keyboard connector) so I bought a asus sk8v. I works fine on 9.1 but I would like to add 2 2g memory sticks to my 2 1g kvr333x72rc25/1gb sticks. Questions are: anyone running 6gb on this mobo? If no any issues with 4gb systems
AFAIK most 1 CPU AMD64 motherboards do not handle 2 GB memory banks. I would look at the Asus web side to see whether it works. Those motherboards are sold to support up to 4GB only.
There are no issues from the software side but the hardware side should be investigated,
Andreas
What about the Tyan 2850, they say 8 GB ? TIA
