I am trying to compile the driver for my wireless network-card from sourceforge under a brand new SuSE AMD64 installation.
But it seems the compilation does not supports the 64'er-kernel,. MAKE says something about a wrong CPU type. Is there a way to compile the driver or have I to live with my cable-network?
Note that this driver is still in a very early release. Most pages reference it as alpha. It works on my 32 bit systems (tried both on SuSE 8.2 and 9.0) after a bit of tweaking, but there's no reason to assume that the driver is 64bit clean. I see you've posted on their fora as well, and I think that's a better place to ask.
