Hello all!
I got throught the intial install of SUSE 10 on an HP XW9300 (1 CPU, 4GB Ram, (2) 80GB SCSI drives, QuadroFX 1400, Version 2.5 BIOS). I ran the
install and boot with no ACPI.
However no matter what I try the boot gets stuck at:
PCI: Probing PCI hardware (bus 00)
Does anyone know of a solution for this?
Thanks.

I had this same issue with a new Opteron dual-core server. Try using the safe mode boot. If that does not work Then do a YaST update of the kernel. Is there a reason you did a no ACPI install? It is actually recommended to use with Linux by a majority of the motherboard manufacturers. Brad Dameron SeaTab Software www.seatab.com
