I disabled usb 2.0 support in the bios, but this didn't solve the problem.
Any hint? Is it a kernel 2.6 / usb 2.0 problem? Or is it microsoft's fault, and i have to buy a new mouse ;-)

Mine is a Logitech optical. The behaviour of mine is fine for a couple of hours, but if I start expecting it to react too fast it freezes and then a second or two later my SuSE 9.1 freezes. I have to hard reset to get out of it. Sorry, no answers. Colin
