Hi,
I am using SuSE 10.0. My ISP uses PPPoE w/ a specified service name. How can I configure SMPPPD, so that is passes the service name to the underlying PPPoE? Can I use the pppoe kernel module? Or should I install rp-pppoe?
Many thanks for any replies.
Greetings, Mitko
Hi, The only solution that I was able to come up with was to replace /usr/sbin/pppoe with a shell script that calls the original executable with the -S option and the rest of the parameters from smpppd. Maybe smpppd should be modified so that it can pass parameters to the called executable.
