What have u already done for openSUSE ? 1. Well I promote openSUSE of all the distros wherever I go …. I personally manually install on user's computers wherever needed … 2. I had recently conducted an open source seminar in which abt 250+ ppl had attended … and I used openSUSE for the presentation … also openSUSE was distributed at the end …. 3. Helped handle the openSUSE 'SUSE Studio' Booth at gnome Asia 2011 also help address many queries ppl had abt this distro … 2. What are your plans for promoting openSUSE ? Please tell us what u want to do in the next 6 months ? 1. Well ...we have another seminar coming up shortly so we would be promoting it more … 2. We are in phase installing all our computer labs with openSUSE … currently abt 2 labs are almost done 3. We are also going to conduct a hands on workshop on how one can use openSUSE as an everyday OS and for professional programming ... 4. What do u think is the best kept secret of openSUSE ? Why do u love to do this ? Well truly I love open source and the free software movement … I can go for hours when the topic just comes up … In the college … in my peer grp... I have always told abt its benefits and encouraged ppl to join the same …. Many ppl who didn’t like using computers much… are now having fun just playing with the various Linux distros :) I just like making ppl aware of the amazing benefits involved …. 6.How did u start with Linux/openSUSE ? What is your level of experience ? Well I started using Linux in 9th std … started off with open Solaris … just wanted to have fun with the terminal :) ….
