The 12th annual Southern California Linux Expo (SCALE) is coming up at the end of February this year. There are a few of us here in Southern California that have been plotting, planning and preparing for the openSUSE booth at the event for months. Currently, it looks like we will have roughly 10 people working the booth talking to over 2000 attendees. Though we have been planning for months, there are still some real tasks that need to be finished or even started before the event. So, a group of about 5 to maybe 7 of us are going to be getting together this coming Friday at my apartment in LA for a hackfest. Among the many things we will be working on are writing up some docs, working on concept art for the booth banner, and doing clean installs on our show machines (laptops, desktops, and servers)... not to mention chowing down on some delicious pizza pies! We will be taking some pictures of the event and I will be sure to update the list with what progress we made along with posting whatever usable pictures we get (I am no good with a camera). -- Drew Adams Member & Advocate, openSUSE Project -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-ambassadors+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-ambassadors+owner@opensuse.org
