Dear all, I would ike to inform this group that the Portuguese Forums will be launched soon and that the current team is composed of 3 members: 1. Nelson Marques (openSUSE GNOME Team contributor); 2. João Matias (openSUSE GNOME initiate); 3. Nuno Dionísio (no affiliation); With such resource available and taking advantage of the expertise of the veterans of the Forums team, I see this resource and one of the main pillars for the unification of the openSUSE users in Portugal, and my only goals are simple: 1. Establish a 'Portuguese Community' and make from this resource the main converging point to support them; 2. Develop the required means to make sure that at least 10% of the nominal community can qualify for openSUSE membership, thus increasing the number of contributions and strength of our voice in the International Community. Though as Ambassador I haven't done much, this is the first visible aspect of my commitment! As a heads up, I would also like to inform the community that me and João Matias have contacted the 'Universidade Fernando Pessoa' in Porto and that we're planning to develop a small event there in July organized by the rising 'Portuguese openSUSE Community'. As a community, I expect to build also bridges with our geographical neighboors in Spain so that we can take advantage of the geographical proximity and cultural resemblances of our two communities to work together for Iberian Domination. More will be reported in the future, as I have no plans to expose my strategy yet, but I do have one, and my word on it is the only assurance I am willing to give.
