Spread the Summit Word!
By now, most of you have heard the openSUSE Summit is officially announced. [1] What's next? Spread the word! :-) 1. We have a Facebook Event page. Please go to this page and a) add yourself, b) invite others to the Event page. The more people we spread the word to, the better awareness out there. 2. We have settled on #ossum12 as our official Summit hashtag for Twitter. Please use this to help promote the Summit. 3. I'm still learning this, but seems Pinterest is the latest rage in social media. I created a bulletin board with some pins at [3]. You can join Pinterest via Twitter or Facebook. Let me know and I'll add you as a contributor to the board. 4. We need people to maintain on Google+ and LinkedIn as well. I don't work on those networks, so someone else needs to volunteer, please. 5. We need Spanish-speaking translators to help spread the word to nearby Spanish-speaking countries as this will be a bi-lingual event. Thanks! Bryen M Yunashko Let's Engage! Collaborate! Awesome. I suggest to just go and translate things and blog on planet openSUSE. We could set up a spanish-language G+ and facebook page etc?
Regards-Saludos
