Re: [opensuse-marketing] Re: [opensuse-ambassadors] openSUSE Magazine
Hey all :) How are you doing ? I think we are missing some action in this thread! Prashanth and I have been over most of the ideas we have got from you and we are even proceeding with a timeline which we hope to complete within the week. In the meantime we want to know if someone has already started writing an article for the magazine. Or if there is someone that wants to talk with us more regarding what exactly he/she should write about. In any case we are open for discussion so that we can all get to work and get some nice articles soon. In the meantime, you check out http://www.ietherpad.com/openSUSE-Magazine with ideas that have come up and the most important thing: In this etherpad you can assign yourself an article to write about - you just have to write your name and what you are working on and when you expect to have it finished and sent to us. This is one of the most fundamental but yet important steps of the process to make the magazine happen. So, please pick a subject you like and let us know you are writing about it! We are always available for any clarifications and we hope to see some action soon :) Be back with more updates soon! Stella On Tue, Sep 20, 2011 at 10:04 AM, jdd <jdd@dodin.org> wrote:

Hi people!
It's really great to find so many replies and so many enthusiastic people who are ready to write articles for a magazine. I believe that most of the clarifications have already been made in an earlier email by differentreality.
Hello, Prashanth, I hope the travel was not too hard :-)
Since i am not really aware of many collaborative apps like etherpad, I went along and created a pad at http://www.ietherpad.com/ErU9b3zoyR. Once
we should really work on etherpad. I'm often upset by the number of tools we have to learn, but this one deserve really to be used (if santa claus reads: having etherpad-lite on connect would be a nice christmas gift :-).
However I'm a bit concerned to see all this work on free air, google indexed, before it's even close to final.
I think you should open a professional account on ietherpad (as far as I understand, it's free), that allows you to open private pages. Anybody here could also register on ietherpad and be accepted as the magazine team (very loosely, we can accept nearly any people that wants to help)
I can do this for you if you want, but may be it's better if you do this yourself?
thanks jdd
