Hi everyone, Google have just launched Google+ Communities, which IMHO can be a great platform to spread openSUSE. Recent days I've read how Google+ is getting bigger and I think maybe it would be interesting to do some little brainstorming to offer some kind of presence on it.
My first idea is creation of some geographical communities (openSUSE Chile, for example) where ambassadors can do: spreading news from openSUSE official channels (blog, etc...), organization of events (InstallFests, talks) and user support/orientation.
Please, let me know what you guys think about it.
Hi Francisco. We had created the account openSUSE Spanish Ambassador, but is possible that we will migrate it to the new Communities ;-) Thank you for the info.
