Hi ambassadors Today the list is hot ;-) Please all give a warm welcome to Luiz Augusto Machado, the new Brazilian openSUSE ambassador. Below you can learn more about him and his relationship with openSUSE as he told us in his own words.
* What have you done already for openSUSE? I'm promoting the openSUSE talking to people about the best things that exist in the openSUSE, like a OBS and sometimes translating the wiki pages that I can. Of course I'm going to talking to peoples in the conferences and meeting as well.
* What are your plans for promoting openSUSE? Please tell us what you want to do the next 6 months. I work in a educational institution and in the second week of May we are going to do one week replete of workshops, and the openSUSE will be there on the workshops and lectures. At 9th April we are going to organize the FLISOL (Latin American free software install fest) and the openSUSE will be there as well. If appear another event I'll make the possible and impossible to promote the openSUSE there.
* Are you ready to start promoting openSUSE? I hope so, I just attend how the stuff works. Now, I want to work a lot.
* What do you think is the best kept secret of openSUSE? Maybe the best kept secret is the community, the people make things happen and I'm very happy to know that I'm part of it.
* Why do you love to do this? I love the freedom and I want to give to other people the same feeling
* How did you start with with Linux/openSUSE? What is your level of experience? I'm a System Administrator and I started with Linux from 7 years ago and with the openSUSe since June of the last year
