I understand fluendo_pullin matters if you have the /official/ fluendo packages, but does not matter if you have the alternative packman packages. Most importantly, you should not have a mix of origins for fluendo and gstreamer packages.
Regardless, you need the fluendo or libav package for mp3 playback that I cited in my previous email in this thread if you want to play back .mp3'.s, as any of the gstreamer packages in the OSS repo will not handle MP3's, as .mp3 is a restricted format based on its current license.
mp3 is one of the few restricted formats that is supported free by fluendo. For the rest of restricted formats (many), you either pay to get support, or download the alternatives from packman. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluendo https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GStreamer https://en.opensuse.org/GStreamer «It contains open source codecs, but fully licensed codec packs can be purchased from the main sponsor, Fluendo, and installed as rpms.» -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E.
