The more you tell us about Spain, the more it appears to be a stupid country.
It seems that there is one group that gets termed 'socialist' that has a more 'social' agenda such as reducing CO2/fighting global by encouraging people to use sun power and alternatives, while on the other there are the 'conservatives', however you choose to name them, who are actually restrictive of personal initiatives and penalise such efforts. Spain may appear stupid in the doing of this but its not alone in having two political parties who seem more interested in being polar opposites than they are in representing the needs or the wishes of their electorate.
