Hi
I am running openSUSE 13.2 on an Intel NUC with WOL activated. The shutdown command only reboots the PC, I need to physically press the power off button in order to get the desired behaviour. Same happens if I use ’shutdown -h now’ from command line. WOL works as expected. Is there a way to get normal shutdown behaviour without deactivating WOL ? Since laptop-mode-tools do not only disable WOL, you could try this one, too: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=848889#c19 Use lspci to get the path of the Ethernet Controller power control file. However, it's just a wild guess: updating to 13.2 fixed this problem here.
