HI all,
In the past few days I have been having problems with KDE. I've got them more or less fixed. But one is driving me crazy! When I click on the bar at the bottom to bring up a new window KDE closes all other windows. I don't want it to do this. For example when I am working on a web site and need to use Kcalc the web site window closes. What I want is the web window open with the Kcalc window open too.
How do I tell KDE to not close windows?
It sounds like you HIDING windows, not closing them. Closing them (menu -> close or F4) means the content goes away. Its likely that when you say "I click on the bar at the bottom to bring up a new window" you are actually switching between virtual desktops There are many setting that can cause windows to be hidden when a new one opens. -- It seems to work fairly well but composing e-mail on a phone keypad is akin to trigonometry in binary. -- ajtr2 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
