Might be a bluecurve issue, the cursor appears as expected on everycursor theme that I tried (but I don't have bluecurve installed).
On Gnome, KDE3 and KDE2 this theme works OK. After restart of KDE4 also seems
OK. But once I also experienced unexpected return of Oxygen.
