I reported a similar problem years ago. It affects one machine running 
11.0, but it appeared earlier; my current solution is have the router 
continuously ping it.

Quite older versions on the same machine work fine.

And of course there is a bugzilla. You have to report your problem on a 
new one. It could be a regression of that problem affecting some hardware. 
Or a similar problem.
