I just noticed this on a home server I'm busy setting up: the file
access time is not recorded by the filesystem (reiserfs). OpenSuSE 11.2,
fully patched.
The fstab entries for the filesystems do *not* contain the "noatime"
keyword (just the "acl,user_xattr" that seem typical for reiserfs).
I compared with an older server at work (SLES 9) that also uses
reiserfs, and that one *does* record access time.
Is this the expected behaviour under 11.2 ?
If so, how can I change it to get my access times updated ?
TIA
Cheers. Bye.
Ph. A.
