I am trying to take a screen shot of a window but the window decorations are not there. I have used both the GUI and command line interface:
gnome-screenshot -w -d 5 -b
any suggestions?
I use the "print screen" key. Try wiith alt or control, it modifies what it takes. To capture the borders perhaps you need to take the entire screen, and then cut the window using gimp.
sheese! with ksnapshot (which under kde is launched with the print screen key) you just click "New Snapshot", then click and drag to select exactly what you want -- new in kde4 you have to hit enter after the drag -- then you select "Save As" to write it wherever -- lots easier than cropping with gimp surely gnome has similar functionality -- doesn't it? sc -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
