Lynn,

For your situation I think zypper dup straight from the DVD is the
solution.  I don't think it is documented anywhere, but you can:

Follow the instructions at <http://en.opensuse.org/Upgrade>

And when it tells you to add the OS 11.2 online repos, add the OS 11.2
DVD as a repo instead.

If it works (and I can't think of a reason it would not), please
update the Upgrade page to discuss using the DVD as the repo as an
option.
