I've made a little progress with my palm pilot, but I still get nothing useful. I'm using 11.0, and I've discovered that the device which is USB, shows up as /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1, not /dev/pilot as I had assumed from previous experiences. However, even when I point the gnome pilot applet at this, it still doesn't do anything. Part of the problem is that I don't know which of these two I should use, or if I should use the "usb:" entry in the pilot applet's drop down list. I've tried them all, but none worked. Maybe I did the wrong one first, and that broke something? Can anyone tell me what configuration is intended? Presumably someone somewhere has a working USB palm device on 11.0? Is there anything else that I can do to debug this? TIA for any pointers, Simon "You can tell whether a man is clever by his answers.
