So far so good. An awful lot of stuff got downgraded or not installed. One 
psarticularly annoying thing was the attempt to make an architectural change 
to  OO to i586.

Question is that when I upgrade using "Software Management > Packages > All 
Packages > Upgrade if newer pacages exist" is that I don't see any patches 
being downloaded.  Do I have to do that separately?
