I downloaded an mp4 video file (air mozilla videocast) in Miro. When I try to play it in Miro, Miro tells me it can;'t play it. When I try to play it in other video players (xine, vlc, mplayer, etc.) they are also unable to play the file.
Anyone have any idea what I need to in order to play this file?
Thanks, Rick mp4 is a container format. It may be many possibilities inside. I would suggest making sure you have ffmpeg installed, as well as Mplayer and vlc. Even if it is some obscure format inside, with these you can find out what is on the inside to address it further. -- Joe Morris Registered Linux user 231871 running openSUSE 10.3 x86_64
