Here's an example that I sent out last night.Could you please check if openvpn is running few seconds after starting
the connection (ps aux | grep openvpn)?

containing /usr/bin/nm-openvpn-server, but it's not there a few seconds
later.
Did you already try nm-applet? Maybe KNM behaves incorrect.
