What can we do to improve SuSE? Look at the user experience from Ubuntu. I try to play an MP3 file and with 1 click it will install the MP3 codec. Opensuse will just take me to a wiki page where I click a link or two and then it adds packman and installs the package. Too much of a hassle -- some people don't read and thus could get frustrated.
Don't dream, that feature will not be added. Novell (lawyers) understands it is illegal, and that's final.
You know, there is a very good reason why lawyers exist - and that is because there are 2 sides to every story. And it is also the reason why lawyers will always exist and will always make money- because, no matter what, they never lose. What was the point then of Novell and MS "doing a deal"? ho else has gone to bed with MS? Is openSUSE the only distro around now? I am using openSUSE 10.3 and I can view DVDs and digital TV. So why is there is this hypocricy about paying attention to what lawyers think?
The roundabout 1 click install we have is the closest thing possible.
For a detailed explanation, browse the archives and the wiki, it has been explained many, many times.
