This might be: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=303952 I guess that: zypper up which will install update patches should fix the issue. The workaround is: Load "dri" present in /etc/X11/xorg.conf : Section "Module" Load "dbe" Load "type1" Load "freetype" Load "extmod" Load "glx" EndSection This is mine and it works without.
