When I click a link in an email message in TB, nothing happens--doesn't matter whether FF is running or not. No FF window opens to handle the request.
Any help appreciated.
Thunderbird usually tries to start what is set in gconf as http handler. You can verify with "gconf-editor" and see desktop/gnome/url-handler/http If there is set Firefox it should work (and actually does for me). If not it could be that your Thunderbird config is changed and you should see a setting for network.protocol-handler.external.http in the advanced config.
