Thanks, Felix.
One of the hallmarks of losing any argument is failing to address any of the points made, and attacking something else. (Not you, Felix.)
You were remarking not about the substance of some matter of discussion, but the nature of the uses of this list. How one signs is a matter of how one uses the list. And when someone who will not even identify him or herself wants to weigh in on acceptable or unacceptable uses of the list, I think there is at least a little irony afoot. I believe that if one is supplying factual answers to technical questions, ostensibly the primary purpose of this list, then using pseudonyms or posting anonymously are of no consequence. But when posting one's opinions, I think it's cowardly not to associate yourself with those opinions. And I believe that's so even if none of us were ever to meet or have any interactions beyond this list and I believe it despite the inability of any of us to confirm the stated identities.
